One of the highlights of Whispering Pines is its Bonfire Zone. Bonfires on mountains beat the pub any day and the conversations over a hot mug of tea around the bonfire linger longer in the memory than a cup of coffee at the local cafe. Between September and December you can witness the rare phenomenon of Moon Rise from here. The camp also organises occasional Live Guitar and Folk Music performances around the Bonfire.
Music- Folk Music — Live Performance
In the true spirit of Eco Tourism and Eco-Logic, Whispering Pines encourages the local communities by providing them direct and indirect employment (the retreat currently employs over 200 people from the local community, directly and indirectly). A part of this is encouraging and preserving the local folk arts and music. Occasionally and on request, the retreat organises Garhwali Folk Music performances here.
Star Gazing & Using an Astronomical Telescope

Awaken the child like curiosity in you and explores the star and solar system with the telescope at the camp. You will be as amazed on seeing the Saturn rings or caters of the moon.
There can be nothing as meaningful as 'Doing Nothing' at Whispering Pines. Just laze around on a hammock, trying your fingers at a string or two of a Guitar or gazing at the Himalayas.
